Each year, our Archbishop Cardinal Tobin invites us to support and help those who need it in our Archdiocese. Through Catholic Charities, for example, we offer mental health counseling, assistance for challenged adults, a residence for abused women who have children and the St. Lucy’s Homeless Shelter in Jersey City, to name a few. There are also other ways we help Cardinal Tobin support our schools, seminarians and senior priests.

Each parish is given a goal, and ours is $30,000. We need each person’s support. If everyone would donate $100 over the year, we would go way over our goal. But if you give something – any amount – it helps us reach our goal and we increase our participation rate, which is a good sign. Every registered parishioner received a letter and pledge envelope in the mail. Please return them in the collection or to the Archdiocese. If you did not receive one, please take the brochure and envelope on the church tables.

You also can donate online: www.rcan.org/ways-to-give  Please designate "Our Lady of Grace/St. Joseph Parish in Hoboken" under "Select Your Parish" so that our parish receives credit for your generosity.

Nancy Vitale of Hoboken won $348 in the February 24, 2020, raffle.  Congratulations!!!

April 27, 2020, tickets are available after Mass.  You may take some tickets home to sell to family, neighbors and co-workers.  Or contact Socorro Martinez in the parish office at Our Lady of Grace, and she will mail them to you.  Proceeds help us restore our historic buildings.

Please consider making a Mass or memorial intention for 2020 at Our Lady of Grace or St. Joseph.  You can call or come by the Parish Center for OLG Masses (411 Clinton St.) or the Rectory Office for St. Joseph Masses (61 Monroe St.) during office hours (listed on the front of the bulletin).  Alternately, you can use the request form located on the church tables.  There is no limit on the number of Masses.

Are you interested in switching banks or do you already have an account at Investors Bank? There are two great programs that they offer to support non-profits such as Our Lady of Grace and St. Joseph, which is an account holder there.

New Account: If you are interested in opening a new account, please take one of the "Sweet Deal" cards on the church tables and be sure to mention that the parish referred you when you establish your account. Through their "Refer a Friend" program, if your new account meets certain criteria, you will receive a $50 gift card and separately the parish will receive one as well -- win, win! Read on to see how you can further support the parish with the Care2Share program once you set up your account.

All Accounts: If you open a new account or already have an account at Investors Bank, please consider enrolling in their Care2Share Affinity Program. By designating the parish as your non-profit of choice, Investors Bank will make regular donations to the parish at no cost to you. Please take a copy of the Care2Share materials on the church tables and get started today.

Investors Bank has a Hoboken branch at 221 River Street -- please ask to speak with our representative Jordania Rodriguez (201-222-9030) regarding either program. We appreciate your support!
