An annual tradition within our parish, FunFest seems to be become bigger and better each year.
This event is a two-day event that kicks off the first Saturday in June. The first day’s event (NiteFest) is located under a tent in the Our Lady of Grace parking lot during the evening. There is always plenty of great food and lots of cheer!
The fun continues on Sunday in Church Square Park (FunFest). The park will be filled with children and adults enjoying numerous activities like live entertainment, children's rides and games, experiencing the specialties of local food/retail vendors, and more!
However, each year this event needs to be managed and we are always looking for help! We are fortunate to have had over one hundred volunteers in year’s past, and each and every one of those volunteers was needed.
We’re asking you to spare a few hours on Saturday or Sunday, whatever day and time works for you! Volunteers usually help with set-up, clean-up, serving food, selling tickets, working the games of chance and the children’s events.
Being a volunteer doesn’t take that much time and it’s a good way to get involved and give something back to your community.
You’ll also get the chance to meet some of your fellow parishioners and have a great time! Part of the joy of living in a small community is getting to know those individuals who are a part of it. It’s so nice when you can walk down the street and say hello to someone you know. Therefore, come out and take advantage of the chance to meet some of your fellow parishioners and have a great time! We hope to see you there!
