Religious Education


As Catholics we seek to impart knowledge of our faith into our children. Both Our Lady of Grace and St. Joseph offer religious instruction (CCD) for children entering the 1st Grade through 8th grade enrolled in public or private school. See registration details below.

This instruction includes preparation for the following sacraments:
  • Reconciliation
  • First Holy Communion 
  • Confirmation*
The CCD program includes mandatory attendance at a church Mass and is complimented with one-hour classroom instruction during the following times:
  • Sundays: September through May
  • Our Lady of Grace: 11:30am to 12:30pm
  • St. Joseph: 11:00am to 12:00pm
During lesson time, children will explore and discuss the scriptures and gospel, learn prayers and traditions, gain a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith, and acquire an insight of what it means to be part of the Catholic Church.
